…Says they adopted Wike style of politics
Former governor of Sokoto state, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, has said that he and some members who joined the opposition coalition group are still members of PDP, and we’re going nowhere, but we will work for the newly emerged African Democratic Congress (ADC), saying they adopted ‘Wike style of politics’.

According to reports yesterday, the governor was quoted to have stated that: “We’re still members of PDP, and we’re going nowhere; but we will work for ADC. We adopted the Wike style of politics”.
Recall that the state chapters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto and Kebbi states have signified their intention to join any coalition to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
While the Sokoto PDP stakeholders, led by former governor, Aminu Tambuwal, announced that it was set to dump the party for the newly formed coalition political party, All Democratic Alliance, (ADA), its Kebbi counterpart declared its readiness to align with any coalition or political alliance aimed at dislodging the APC at both the state and national levels.
The ADA is one of the 110 new political parties seeking registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Tambuwal’s comments generated attention on social media, with one Reuben Jay posting: “Good.. pay wike in his own coin”. “Interesting, now we seem to be having constructive political opposition”, a post reacted.
Another post read: “Just like Wike, one leg in APC, the other one in PDP 😀; “Finally Wike will taste the drop of his medicine”.
